Description
Soft, chewy cookies and cream bars made with cream cheese, brown sugar, and lots of Oreo chunks. Perfect for parties or a sweet homemade gift.
Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 egg + 1 yolk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
12 crushed Oreo cookies
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line an 8×8 or 9×9 pan with parchment.
2. Cream butter, cream cheese, and sugars until fluffy.
3. Add egg, yolk, and vanilla; mix until combined.
4. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt until just mixed.
5. Fold in Oreo chunks and mini chocolate chips.
6. Spread batter evenly in the pan.
7. Bake 25–30 minutes or until golden and just set.
8. Cool completely before slicing into bars.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days.
Freeze slices individually for up to 2 months.
Let cool fully before cutting to keep clean edges.
