Ingredients
1 cup cottage cheese
¼ cup milk
½ cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack (optional)
1 small can diced green chilies (drained)
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp cumin
¼ tsp chili powder
Salt to taste
Optional: hot sauce or cayenne
Instructions
1. Blend cottage cheese, milk, spices, and optional shredded cheese until smooth.
2. Pour into a saucepan and heat on medium-low for 3–5 minutes.
3. Stir in green chilies, adjust seasoning, and serve warm.
Notes
Use low-sodium cottage cheese for a lighter option.
Great served with chips, veggies, or spooned over tacos.
